We were poor, my mom was a single parent back in the 50’s. We were on welfare a lot of the Christmas Pajama Matching Family Red Plaid Mamaw Bear T Shirt Hoodie, Sweter Shirt and so I didn’t get many presents at Christmas. Clothes, some cheaper toys, and of course, the disappointing gifts from Social Services. I still don’t know how they figured a 10 year old would like stupid cheap, unusable toys for someone much younger. My aunt usually got me something nice though. I had been taking accordion lessons for a year or so and was using a rented small instrument. I opened up the present from my aunt that year and there was this huge, beautiful accordion. I was over the moon. I played that accordion for years, and I believe it’s still in the garage, but the bellows have given out. I was so sad when I saw that. As I would have liked to play it again. I would have gotten it fixed, however I can’t afford it.
Some seem to understand just how pagan Christmas really is… actually most of the Christmas Pajama Matching Family Red Plaid Mamaw Bear T Shirt Hoodie, Sweter Shirt somewhat understands this as well – ask almost any Catholic priest and he will tell you the same. Even most protestant ministers know that Jesus’s birthday was not on December 25th. So the real question is why do people still do it? The answer goes back to the beginning of man and has deep roots in pagan rituals and mystery religions, most all of which began with a man called Nimrod, and his mother/wife Semiramis. Everything they did went against God and the way of life He set forth for mankind. But people continued to practice these rituals and eventually they became incorporated into the fabric of mans religions, even to this day. Keep in mind that Satan is hard at work! If he can keep our focus on a baby in a manger, or on the man Jesus, rather than what He was trying to teach us, he will succeed in redirecting us from the incredible potential God created us for – to become a member of the family of God.

Best Christmas Pajama Matching Family Red Plaid Mamaw Bear T Shirt Hoodie, Sweter Shirt
The first Christmas after my daughter was born. We had enough money to buy her one small gift, and I was 17 and Christmas Pajama Matching Family Red Plaid Mamaw Bear T Shirt Hoodie, Sweter Shirt. She was just 7 months old, she didn’t understand Christmas, no big deal, right? She may not have known, but my in-laws did, and made that Christmas a living hell. How could I be so cheap with a baby, Christmas was supposed to be magical, etc. I spent that day in tears, and vowed I would do everything I could to make sure every birthday, every holiday was wonderful. I scrubbed floors, picked produce, babysat, everything I could to make sure my children had a good Christmas. I crocheted, sewed, saved every penny to give them the best I could. The in-laws finally gave up after I had a well paying job and gave the kids everything they wanted, but I’ve never forgotten how those people worked so hard to make me feel like crap. Every year I buy good toys, CD players, clothes and donate them to the local Community Service office. We fill holiday baskets so a kid wakes up to the smells that I did on Christmas morning. No mother will ever feel the hurt I did at the ridicule of ‘family’.
