The cover art is the best thing about this horror parody anthology. The Diary Of Anne Frankenstein segment was amusing, with a bit of Horror Halloween you cant scare me I work at Popeyes shirt of humor thrown in. The teens in the bridging segment were not only the most likable, but the best actors with the best scripted scenes. (it was like someone else wrote those scenes, they were actually clever) Of course, they had to die horribly. Some good actors like Ray Wise and Lin Shaye are completely wasted in demeaning material. Not only really gory, but gross, especially the 4th (thankfully brief) segment involving lots of shots of poop. I had to fast forward that section. But hey, if you want to see lusty zombies tear of a guy’s package while giving him a BJ, this might be the movie for you!
I was never one to throw the first Horror Halloween you cant scare me I work at Popeyes shirt but sometimes depending on the opponent I was the last. I was, and still am level headed and never quick to anger. Nor have I ever gained ANY sort of pleasure from hurting anyone. Ever. Have I ever hoped that someone would get struck by lightning or get hit by a bus? oh you bet ya’. I digress, The reason I never fought back came in the form of an unusual and interesting visit form an old friend. Get reddy for an M. Night Shyamalan level twist folks, probably followed by a lot of off topic weirdness.

For me it’s just the Horror Halloween you cant scare me I work at Popeyes shirt and the predictability of horror movies that keep me from being immersed enough to actually get scared. That doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy them, but they typically have to have more substance to them than shock value and jump scares, otherwise I’m mostly just enjoying my wife freaking out. The Insidious series is a good example, while the writing the lore is well thought out and spans multiple movies. Conversely, the Saw movies did absolutely nothing for me, they were mostly just a contrite revenge plot fueled by sadistic Rube Goldberg machines. I like horror and suspense in video games though, like Amnesia, probably because of the engagement differences between passive and active media consumption. That said, absolutely fuck that one scene in Pulse where the person gets pulled into the wall by a bunch of arms, I had nightmares for a week after that.
