On October 11, 2014, my cousin Marina died in the hospital after being air lifted from the Grants, NM emergency room to an emergency overdose response unit (not sure what it’s actually called) in Colorado. The medical staff worked diligently, tirelessly to save her life. Her kidneys and liver failed and she had swelling in her brain. It is unclear whether she overdosed intentionally or by mistake. She had been sick with a head cold, but was drinking the night she overdosed. It is possible that she absently took too many tablets, forgetting she’d already taken some. We don’t know what was going through her head. She never had a chance to tell us. I believe it may have been a suicide attempt, though. Still, I’m just guessing.

But I digress. In response to your question, my ex is a registered pharmacist and she would always get the brand name version of any drug. She told me that after a large container of a generic drugs was empty, there would be powder or dust residue remaining in the bottom. According to her, this didn’t happen, or was a much more limited phenomenon with brand name drugs.Just be aware, a little clove oil goes a long way. Your mouth will feel pretty weird as your saliva spreads it around. It is also kind of rank tastewise (if you’ve ever smoked a clove cigarette or bitten into a clove that was left on a ham, you already know this). You also shouldn’t use it for more than 3 days in a row or long term,, as it can eventually irritate your mouth and gums.
